Computer Imaging For Chin Augmentation (Chin Implant) Patients

Have you considered Computer Imaging to help you convey your desires to your surgeon?  As you well know, computer images are made from pixels of color and light and your face from flesh and bone.  So, is it unrealistic to use computer imaging as a tool to express your aesthetic preferences?  We don't think so.  Used as a communication tool, a computer-generated "before and after" photo is an excellent media to help you and your surgeon determine if you are on the same page about your desired outcome.

Not every surgeon offers computer imaging, more don't than who do so it can be a challenge to locate a surgeon who provides this service. Not to mention, most surgeons do not let you take your computer-generated image home with you.  Why you ask?  Usually two reasons, one as not to develop an unrealistic expectations and two, not to use it as a tool to convey your desires to another surgeon.  Some offer imaging for a fee and of course then you can bring it home with you.

There are also commercial websites who offer this service to patients for fees ranging from $10. to $75.  Some of these can be found by performing a quick search online.

It is worthy of mention that although every effort is made to develop a realistic 'before and after' image, this is not a guarantee of any particular surgical outcome.  Aesthetic results depend upon many factors including surgeon skill, communication, post-operative protocol and individual healing.
